Kick
off Clocktower Players 40th
season with the concert staging of legendary composer and
lyricist Stephen Sondheim’s Tony Award-Winning Best Musical, COMPANY!
Follow perennial New York bachelor Bobby on the night of his 35th birthday as he learns about the perils and pleasures of love, marriage, dating and divorce during a hilarious array of interactions from "those good and crazy people - my married friends". When it first burst on the scene, COMPANY's modern take on relationships was revoluntionary and forever changed the course of Musical Theater.
Originally produced and directed by Harold Prince, it features many of Sondheim's best-known songs: Company, Side by Side by Side, The Ladies Who Lunch, Another Hundred People, Barcelona and Being Alive.
With a phenomenal cast, a cagey, witty book by George Furth and Stephen Sondheim's brilliantly brisk and incandescent score — this one-night sensational event will sell out. Don’t miss it!
November 4, 8pm
TICKETS $40
