SLEEPOVERS
Please do Not schedule any sleepovers Friday night!
Kids need to be rested for Saturday.
COSTUMES
Clocktower will be providing T-shirts for all Nifty Fifty performers. They are for the kids to keep!
We are asking our performers to bring a few things from their closets to add to the fifties feel…Please bring everything to the theater Tuesday
Girls:
**Black capri length leggings (or full length leggings that we can roll up)
**White Ankle socks
**Keds or Converse-style shoes (many of your kids already have these. Hi-top, lo-top, any color)
**High ponytail or the front sides pulled back with barrettes if it’s too short for a ponytail
Boys:
**Jeans
**Converse-style sneakers or keds
The keds or converse-style sneakers can usually be found at Payless of you don’t already own something similar.
THEATRE ETIQUETTE - please take a few minutes to review with your children.
Always be on time. If there is an emergency causing you to be late please text your JJ at
· When the Stage Manager gives you information IE: "Places Please." It is proper to respond: "Thank you, places."
· Backstage, is a SILENT ZONE. Dressing Rooms, quiet conversation only.
If you choose to bring Electronic Devices, CTP cannot be responsible for them in any way.
· NO CELL PHONES are allowed in the dressing rooms, backstage or onstage. They are distracting, and interfere with the sound system.
· There is no RUNNING in the theater.
· Do not touch the curtains or the gold proscenium.
· SITE LINES
Make sure you stay clear of the marked lines backstage.
Make sure you exit to the dressing room, do not stop backstage, unless we assigned you to sit there.
There should be no hanging around backstage unless you have an entrance or assigned stage element you are responsible for. This is for your safety as well as the smooth running of the show.
· PROPS
Do not touch or play with props or costume pieces that are set offstage.
Props are to be touched only when and by whom they are being used by in a scene.
They are to be returned to their proper places.
· CROSSOVER
The upstage crossover should not be used unless you are assigned to do so.
IF you are assigned a crossover, remember to walk slowly with your hand on the wall, and not touching the scrim.
· DRESSING ROOMS
The floor must be clear of all personal items at all times. Place items under the counters or under the clothing racks. Do Not sit on the counters.
There are cast members that have allergies to hairspray, be considerate and ask your dressing roommates before spraying!
· FOOD
There is no eating in costume.
Food/Drinks are not permitted in any dressing room, backstage or onstage.
If found, it will be thrown out. No exceptions unless you have a medical issue that we have been informed of in advance.
A water bottle labeled with your name is permitted.
Clean up after snacks or lunch breaks. We do not provide maid service.
Be KIND to your fellow cast mates. Do not direct anyone else.
